This is hands-down the best beef jerky we’ve stumbled upon at Bourbon & Boots. It was recognized in Food & Wine as one of the “Top Ten Test Kitchen Discoveries,” and we want to eat it by the bucket-full. That’s not weird, right?
Stripling’s General Store is known through the South for their excellent butcher shop, where they added beef jerky to the menu in 1995. The secret to their jerky is very lean cuts of beef seasoned to perfection. They cut and hang each piece by hand before sending it into the smoker. The results are a low-fat, mouth-watering treat that has become a favorite for many. No artificial flavors, no nitrates, no MSG. Pure meaty goodness.
