Bennet

The Bennett is a classic gin cocktail that originated in the 19th Century. It was named after Mr. George Augustus Bennett, editor of Punch magazine for which it was first published in 1859. It is a simple variation on the classic Gimlet that was so popular with our 2016 Bartender of the Year, Meaghan Dorman, that she named her newest establishment after it. The Bennett is a simplistic Gimlet variant that relies on the all-important inclusion of Angostura bitters, as well as a cinnamon-infused lime cordial to amp up the spiciness.
