Black Daiquiri

Black Daiquiri is a drink with a kick. The drink is called for the place where it was founded - Daiquiri on Cuba's southern coast – and was allegedly conceived in 1898 by an American mining engineer named Jennings Cox. About a decade later, a US Navy medical officer brought the recipe across from Cuba, bringing it to the US. Hints of Brandy, Rum and lime give it a flavour that will make your taste buds tingle! When you combine the spiciness of Kraken Rum with the rich flavor of Demerara Syrup and the delightful sourness of fresh Lime Juice, you get a Daiquiri with a whole new level of complexity. This recipe makes one drink – but you can always double or triple the ingredients to make enough for more.
