Button Hook

The Button Hook is named after the tool of the same name, which was used to keep the buttons of soldiers' uniforms from popping off. It's a cocktail that has been served at bars and restaurants across America for over 125 years, but it's origin is unknown (like many great recipes). The Button Hook sounded weird since it was made out of equal parts Creme de Menthe, Apricot Nectar, Absinthe, and Brandy.
