Cablegram on the rocks' is the first drink of our series to celebrate Telegram. It consists on Irish Whiskey (Jameson), Ginger Syrup, Lime Juice (freshly squeezed) and club soda. CABLEGRAM was born as a tribute for the father of modern cryptography, Sir Claude Chappe, who invented it in 1792 to send telegraphic messages via optical semaphores using flags on hills.

Spirit Used


2 ounce Bourbon whiskey
1 ounce Fresh lemon juice
½ ounce Simple Syrup
1 Ginger ale


1. Stir first three ingredients in ice-filled highball glass.
2. Fill with ginger ale.
3. Serve in a Highball Glass.
