Coconut Rum Cosmopolitan cocktail

The Coconut Rum Cosmopolitan is one of the most popular tropical drinks that is mostly served at bars and parties. It’s sweet, delicious, and refreshing. The Cosmo was invented in 1976 by bartender, Carol Smolenski and is one of the most popular drinks at the bar.

There are many variations to the classic Cosmopolitan. One example is the Coconut Rum Cosmopolitan, which makes use of coconut rum, lychee liqueur, and lime juice.

Spirits Used:


¼ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
1 ounce cranberry juice cocktail
¾ ounce orange liqueur
1½ ounces coconut rum
Orange peel for garnish


1. Chill a martini glass.
In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, cranberry juice cocktail, orange
2. liqueur, and coconut rum.
3. Add ice and shake to chill.
4. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with the orange peel.
