It was created in 1887 by John Collins at the Planters Club in Atlanta, Georgia. It is one of the most refreshing drinks you can try out. This drink has a nice flavour of cranberries and lemon. It is very easy to make this drink at home with minimal ingredients.
¾ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce simple syrup
1½ ounces gin
Sparkling cranberry juice
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and gin.
2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a highball glass filled with ice.
4. Top with sparkling cranberry juice.
