The Dirty Shirley Temple is an alcoholic drink that consists of a Shirley Temple cocktail mixed with vodka. Created by the bartender Ryan Magarian at the Rye House in New Jersey in 2007, it was originally made for his wife and named after her. It’s made with Cherry Vodka instead of Gin.
It is made with: 1/2 oz. vodka, 1/2 oz. Chambord (raspberry liqueur), and 4 oz. of ginger ale or ginger beer; garnished with a maraschino cherry, lemon slice and lime slice; served over ice in a glass or mug.
½ ounce grenadine
1 ounce vodka
Cherry for garnish
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the grenadine and vodka.
2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain into a collins glass filled with ice and top with ginger ale.
4. Garnish with a cherry.
