Fancy Whiskey

Fancy Whiskey is a new take on one of the oldest spirits in the world. The history of the Fancy Whiskey cocktail is not very clear. It’s not even clear which country first started drinking whiskeys. There are three popular theories on the origin of this drink. One theory is that it’s an American drink because the word “whiskey” probably comes from “whisky,” which was used as a Scottish term for all distilled drinks at the time. Another theory says that it came from Ireland, where they used to mix Irish whiskey with other ingredients to make it more enjoyable. The last theory claims that this drink originated in France during the 1800s and was called “Fancy Whisky Cocktail."
