Fox River

The Fox River cocktail was created by Walter Chell. He claimed that he invented the drink in 1922 at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago, Illinois, but there is no record of this. One of the first printed recipes appeared in 1922 article by George Jessel. It is a classic cocktail made with bourbon, brown creme de cacao and Angostura bitters.
