Gin Gin Mule

Gin Gin Mule was created by Mattias Hagglund, bar manager at The Patterson House in Nashville. After Mattias moved to the United States, he discovered that it is very hard to find a good gin and ginger beer cocktail here. That's where the idea of adding gin to ginger beer came from. In a shaker, combine the mint, lime juice, and syrup. Shake in the gin and some ice. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and, if available, a slice of candied ginger.
