Ginger Gin Fizz

Ginger Gin Fizz is a classic cocktail that was invented in the 1890s. It is an old-fashioned drink that offers a refreshing taste with just the right amount of kick. The history of this drink itself has been the center of many debates. Some say that it was first created by John Pemberton, who created Coca-Cola, while others say it was made by Jimmie Roosevelt. The latter President’s wife allegedly enjoyed this cocktail so much that she requested it be served at all White House functions. Gin has always been a bit of a rebel in the cocktail family. But Ginger Gin Fizz might be its most rebellious child yet. This drink is basically an Old Fashioned, but with ginger-infused gin instead of bourbon or rye.
