Hale Boppers were invented in 1958 by a bartender at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu. They were named after the hotel. This drink became popular during the early 1960s because it was fancier than other mixed drinks at that time.
It is a sweet and tangy cocktail made with citrus vodka, peach schnapps and lemonade. It is usually served in a tall glass with ice and pineapple slices.
