La Vita Dulce is a refreshing, Mexican-inspired cocktail. This wonderful drink has been around for centuries and continues to evolve as time goes by. This cocktail was invented in Colombia by a bartender. It is made from rum, mezcal and lime juice.
Originally called the "El Diablo" – the devil – La Vita Dulce has been a favourite drink of Mexican people since time immemorial. It is believed that this name originated from the old belief that only those who drank it would live a happy life. In recent times, it was renamed to La Vita Dulce, meaning "the sweet life". In Spanish, the term "dulce" refers to something sweet or something which is pleasing to one's taste.

Ingredients
1 ½ ounce Spiced rum
¾ ounce Mezcal
¾ ounce Fresh Lime Juice
¾ ounce Simple Syrup
Ground cinnamon
Recipe
1. Shake with ice and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
2. Top with cinnamon.
3. Serve in a Cocktail Glass.
