The Mango Vodka Sour has its origins in Miami, Florida. It was first served at the Caribe Hilton Hotel during the 1970s and was invented by its head bartender, Chuck Weiss. It is a popular cocktail because of its delicious fruity flavor and the easiness of preparing which made it perfect for parties.
½ ounce mango syrup
½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
¼ ounce grenadine
2 ounces vodka
Mint sprig for garnish
1.In a cocktail shaker, combine the mango syrup, lemon juice, grenadine, and vodka.
2. Add ice and shake to chill.
3. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice and garnish with a mint sprig.
