Midori Sour

Midori Sour is a take on the classic sour cocktail. The drink was invented in 1961 by Donato "Duke" Antone, Sr. and his son, Donato "Duke" Antone, Jr., at Duke's Liquor Store in Sacramento, California. The Midori Sour is a sweet and sour drink that blends the flavors of green melon, citrus, and mint. It is an extremely popular drink in Japan and is also served in the United States.

Ingredients

¼ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 ounce Midori
1 ounce vodka
Ice
Club soda
Cherry for garnish

Recipe

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the lime juice, lemon juice Midori, and vodka.
2. Add the ice and shake to chill.
3. Strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Top with club soda.
4. Garnish with a cherry.
