Pog Highball

Pog Highball is a popular fruit drink from the Philippines and it's become very popular in the States as well. Since its invention in the late 1800s, the pog highball cocktail has been subject to a lot of variations and alterations. The original recipe was created in 1894 by bartender Edwin Bain. It's a simple blend of passion fruit, orange and guava juices and can be enjoyed on its own or mixed with rum for a delicious cocktail!

Spirit Used

Ingredients

Crushed ice
6 ounces POG (or 2 ounces each fresh orange, pineapple, and guava juice)
2 ounces pineapple flavored vodka
Pineapple wedge for garnish

Recipe

1. Fill a highball glass with ice.
2. Add the POG and the vodka. Stir.
3. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
