Pumpkin Tea cocktail

The Pumpkin Tea cocktail is perfect for the fall. It is sweet, spicy and refreshing. It can be traced back to the Chinese who came up with it during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The drink was introduced to Japan in the late 1800s.

Spirits Used:


½ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ ounce pumpkin syrup
1 ounce vodka
Freshly brewed tea
Dried lemon wheel for garnish (optional)


1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the lemon juice, pumpkin syrup, and vodka.
2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a mason jar filled with ice.
4. Top with tea.
5. Garnish with a dried lemon wheel.
