Ranch Water

Ranch Water, a clear cocktail made from tequilla, topo chico, and lemon juice. The history of this cocktail can be traced back to the late 1800s with an origin in Mexico. The reason for this name is unclear. One explanation is that it was given its name because it is so easy to make with common ingredients that you could do so at any time or place. Another theory is that it was named after ranch hands who would often drink it during their long days of work. To prepare this cocktail, mix tequila, lime juice and water in a glass filled with ice. Stir until the glass frosts over. Fill the remaining space with Topo Chico.
