The Rose Gimlet is a classic cocktail that was created in 1948 by Trader Vic Bergeron for the Richmond Hill Country Club in Canada. The drink originates from an earlier gimlet recipe, which originated in the 19th century. The Rose Gimlet has gone on to become one of the most famous cocktails of all time.
It is the drink of the summer. The rose water makes this cocktail fresh and fabulous; it’s beautiful color will make you want to grab another one.
1 ounce rose hip infused Gin
1 ounce simple syrup
1 ounce fresh lime juice
½ ounce rose water
Garnish: Rose petals
1. Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Float rose petals.
