Screwdriver is a mix of Orange Juice, Vodka with a hint of lemon. This drink was invented in 1956 by American businessman John G. Martin of the Smirnoff Corporation, for an American marketing campaign for Smirnoff vodka. The drink’s name refers to how it turns the clear color of the vodka yellow, similar to how a screw turns the threads in a screw-threaded hole.
It’s chilled to perfection and served in an ice-cold glass. It is sweet, with subtle citrus undertones that are orangey and refreshing perfect for any time of the day.
