Sea Foam Green is a delicious and refreshing cocktail that is made up of gin, fresh lemon juice and pineapple juice. It has a light, tropical flavor with a slight hint of nutmeg. The drink was first mentioned in 1922 when it was published in the book "Drinks: How to Mix Them" by William J. Tarling.
The recipe for this cocktail was not given but it mentioned that the drink is also called "Skinny Green." The name comes from the color of the cocktail which looked like seaweed or kelp when garnished with green maraschino cherries and an olive slice.
