Sea Meets Sky is a cocktail based on the Mexican cuisine, inspired by the sea and the sun. In 1894, a reporter from the New Orleans Times-Democrat wrote about a new invention “The Sea Meets Sky Daiquiri”. He was describing how this drink had been created by a bartender in the Caribbean. It was said to have been made with lime, honey and rum. It is a mix of rum, ice, fresh fruit juices and spices to achieve a harmonious blend with a strong character.
