The Sex on the Beach is a fruit-flavored alcoholic cocktail. It consists of vodka, peach schnapps, and orange juice or cranberry , to which some recipes also include grapefruit juice. It was created by a bartender called Ted who worked at Confetti's Bar, according to bartender folklore and the website sexonthebeach.com. He created a drink using peach schnapps after being inspired by a promotion by a peach schnapps business to sell the most of the alcohol.

1 barspoon grenadine
2 ounces orange juice
Ice
3 ounces lemon-lime soda

1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, triple sec, melon liqueur, schnapps,
