Shark Bite

The Shark Bite cocktail was created in 2003 by Toby Cecchini, the bar manager at the time of The Royal Hawaiian Hotel’s Pineapple Room. Cecchini wanted to create a signature drink for the hotel’s signature pineapple mug. It is a delicious rum cocktail that will bite at your taste buds with the sweet and salty mix of pineapple juice, lime juice, blue curacao, spiced rum, light rum and simple syrup. One version of this drink is made with vodka, rum, peach schnapps and pineapple juice, but there are also variations that can be made with different types of liquor. It has been mentioned in many different publications and has been featured on TV shows like Hawaii Five-O (2010).
