Spiced Rum Sunrise is a drink that originated in the United States, especially popular in Florida. It was invented by Robert "Rosebud" at the Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in Islamorada, Florida. The original drink was made with orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice and grenadine syrup. Today’s recipe varies from place to place but it usually consists of rum or vodka (or both), orange juice, lemon juice and grenadine syrup.
¾ ounce grenadine
¾ ounce orange juice
1½ ounces spiced rum
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the grenadine, orange juice, and spiced rum.
2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass.
