Vanish

The Vanish cocktail has been around for over 100 years, but it's only recently that the ingredients have been widely known. The cocktail was first made by Johnnie Van Sheck, a bartender in New York City. Van Sheck made the drink for 50 cents to people who wanted to be able to go straight home after work without having to wait for trains. It became popular with night-shift workers at factories and railroads because it would give them enough energy until their next break or lunchtime. This is why it's sometimes called 'The energy drink of laborers'.
