Vodka Honeysuckle cocktail

The Vodka Honeysuckle cocktail is a well-known drink that originated in the 1920s. It was initially created in a bar called Trader Vic’s, located in the San Francisco area.

This drink is made from vodka, honey, and lime juice. The cocktail has a sweet taste with an alcohol kick at the end of it which is why it became so popular. It has many different variations which you can find on your favorite bartending websites or books.

Spirits Used:


¾ ounce honey simple syrup
1 tablespoon molasses
¾ once freshly squeezed lime juice
2 ounces vodka


1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the honey simple syrup, molasses, lime juice, and vodka.
2. Add ice and shake until chilled.
3. Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe, or champagne, glass and serve.
