Each piece is an ornamentally carved piece of aluminum affixed to a repurposed piece of barn wood. The Stratocaster was invented in 1954 by the Fender Corporation as a double-cutaway guitar with an extended horn shape for balance. is a model of electric guitar designed in 1954 by Leo Fender, Bill Carson, George Fullerton, and Freddie Tavares. The Fender Musical Instruments Corporation has continuously manufactured the Stratocaster from 1954 to the present. It is a double-cutaway guitar, with an extended top "horn" shape for balance. Along with the Gibson Les Paul, it is one of the most loved guitars used by the likes of Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton. 

Most pieces come in standard sizes of 16” x 9” or small sizes of 9” x 8”. The metal stands away from the wood approximately ½”. Each piece contains hanging hardware, an authenticity sticker, and is personally hand-signed by the artist.

The artist is a native of Greenwood, MS, a town on the east side of the Mississippi delta bordered by the Tallahatchie and Yazoo Rivers. His interest in repurposing came at a young age as he first learned woodworking and metal carving skills from his father who made folk harps.   He started crafting these magnificent creations in his retirement after attending Mississippi State and a corporate career with Fed Ex. He now resides in Hernando, MS.
