Lychee Martini cocktail is a popular drink and it has a long history. It was called “Widow’s Kiss” in the older days and was an unappealing drink that people only had when they were coping with grief. In 1948, Harry Craddock added some lychees to the drink and gave the drink its current name. The story behind it is one of how human’s love for flavors influenced its recipe over time.
